More Goodies for Allie

My parents came for a visit August 2-7, right at 34 weeks. They came bearing gifts, including many of my baby blankets and books. We enjoyed looking through those and remembering where each blanket came from or who made it, and I have enjoyed reading some old favorites that I had forgotten about!

We spent time visiting while they were here. Mama and I went shopping and ate at the Olde English Tea Room in downtown Wake Forest on Saturday. Daddy and Mama also took me shopping on Friday for Allie's swing and highchair. Tony put those together Sunday, and they are even cuter in person than on the Internet! I think Allie will enjoy them both!

Thanks to our parents and other family and friends, we are closer to being ready for Allie's arrival!

San Antonio--Remember the Alamo!

I know this is a couple months overdue, but we wanted to go ahead and put up a few pics of us from San Antonio at the Southern Baptist Convention. We had a great time--it was a much-needed "vacation" before the life-changing event of becoming parents! Also, while we were there, we got to see one of our best friends from college, Janna Johnston. It was great to catch up and hang out a little with her. Plus, she was pretty excited to see me with a pregnant belly! So you know, this trip was June 9-14; and I was 26 weeks along.
